Liability Release on the part of the client:
I
realise that the activities offered, including skiing, snowboarding and
travel to, from and within the locations provided by Heliski
Valgrisenche/Esprit Heliski, SA (hereinafter known as EH) inherently
involve risks which may result in property damage or loss, serious or
fatal injury. I acknowledge that rocks, cliffs, cornices, avalanches,
changing snow conditions or mechanical failure are an ever present
hazard when heli-skiing. I hereby assume all risks and release all
persons, entities or contractors connected with EH from all liability
for any injuries or damages and from any claim by me, my family,
estate, agents, heirs or assigns arising in any way from my
participation in all, and any activities connected with EH.
Price:
All
the prices are per person if the group is complete (4 people); if the
group is not complete the total cost is to divide by the participants.
If one of the participants cancels his seat, you can substitute him
with another person. If you can’t replace that person, the general
conditions will be applied.
Reimbursement:
if the group cannot do all the runs
included in the package we reimburse 100 euro per person if it
is composed by 4 people, 80 euro per skiers if it is composed by 5
skiers.
If the group cannot do all
the flights to come back to the helibase we reimburse 50 euro per person if it is composed by 4 skiers, 40 euro per person if it is composed by 5 skiers.
Extra Flights:
The price of extra flights is a flat fee for each rotation. The group
will be responsible for the payment of all extra flights, without
respect to the number of persons participating.
Staff flights:
Heliski Valgrisenche reserves the right to place staff with any groups
where open seats occur. This does not decrease the price of flights for
clients. Every effort will be made to place independent clients with
incomplete groups and when this occurs correct adjustment will be made
to client invoices.
Bad weather:
In case of bad weather our guides will propose to move.
The group will ski with the mountain guide in one of the nearest ski resorts as Courmayeur, Pila, La Thuile.
Moreover
situated as we are on the southern side of the alps, it is often
possible to move for heli skiing on the North. In Switzerland, just 1,5
hour away, we can make some fabulous descents when the weather is not
cooperating on the Italian side.
Other activities can include:
- introducing to ice climbing;
- ski touring.
Loss/Damage of Equipment:
In
the event of loss or damage to any equipment loaned or rented by
Heliski Valgrisenche/Esprit Heliski SA, you will be responsible to
settle all costs at time of departure. We will extend ourselves in any
reasonable way to meet the paperwork requirements of your insurance
company within 30 days.
Items will be charged at the following rates:
Exploded canister airbag: 60,00 €
Sac ABS: 600,00 €
ARVA: 300,00 €
Ski Poles: 30,00 €
Amplid Skis 600,00 €
Payments and cancellationsMethod of payment : - 25% deposit to confirm your reservation by bank transfer. Your credit card will be taken to place the initial reservation until your bank transfer is receieved.
- Balance of package is due 30 days before arrival by bank transfer.
- Extra charges incurred during your stay will be invoiced to you after your stay is completed.
- Any payments made by Credit Card will carry a 5% supplement due to increased bank charges.
- In order to respond quickly to booking requests and reserve spaces, we require your registration forms and your deposit. Failure to receive registration forms and payment within a reasonable time frame will result in our releasing any reserved seats.
Cancellation
If you cancel your seat, your deposit will not be refunded.
If we cancel for the bad weather the deposit can be refunded or we can choose an alternative date for your stay.
If
you cancel your heliskiing week 90 days or less before your departure,
your deposit will be repaid only if your seat can be sold to another
person.
Ombudsman
The
relationship between yourself and EH are exclusively regulated by Swiss
Law. EH can only be sued at its head office, at 1936 Verbier.
Before
submitting litigation to a tribunal, you should contact the travel
sector indipendent ombudsman. The ombudsman will try to find an
equitable solution to resolve any dispute that could take place between
yourself and EH or the travel agent with which you have placed the
reservation.

InsuranceAn
insurance for cancellation, repatriation, accidents occuring while
doing extreme sports, and rescue in case of accident, is highly
recommended by EH for all clients and guides external to Italy (who are
otherwise covered). In the event of a rescue operation the client
involved will bear the responsibility of settling any/all costs
associated with said rescue.
